Privacy policy

In short: neither the game nor this website collects anything about you. The longer version follows.

The game

Záhoří nad Vlárou (Mac, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Linux; App Store and Steam) does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal data.
It needs no account of its own and never sends anything about you anywhere. The only thing it may download is a voice pack: on iPhone and iPad, the Czech and English voices come with the app and any other dub is downloaded from Apple's App Store servers when you choose that voice language (or at first launch, for your device's language); on Steam, Steam installs the dub for your language like any other game data. Apart from that, the game never connects to the internet.
It contains no ads, analytics or tracking. The Steam version includes Valve's Steamworks library; it talks only to the Steam client on your computer, to report the achievements you unlock and let Steam sync your saves. The App Store versions contain no third-party SDK at all.
Saved games, settings (volume, subtitles, language) and the player profile (achievements) are stored on your device, in the game's own folder. On Mac, iPhone and iPad they are removed when you delete the app.
If you use Steam Cloud, iCloud or other device backups, these files may be copied according to your settings; Valve and Apple handle those copies under their own privacy policies — outside the developer's reach.

Apple (App Store) and Valve (Steam) process purchase, account and achievement data under their own privacy policies. The developer has no access to it beyond anonymous aggregate statistics.
Apple may share anonymous statistics and crash reports with the developer if you agreed to share them in your system settings.

zahori.jakubjirak.com uses no cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or ads, and loads nothing from third parties. Fonts and images are served from the same server.
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Its servers briefly process technical data (IP address, browser type) to deliver the page and keep it secure. The site owner does not use these logs.
If you click to play a YouTube video, it loads from youtube-nocookie.com and Google's privacy policy applies from then on. Until you click, nothing is loaded from YouTube.
